Looking for a robotics engineer (mechanical)
Technical task for the development of an autonomous pet robot
1. Purpose of the device
The robot imitates the behavior of a pet, responding to sounds, light, tactile, and visual signals.
2. Design and construction
Shape: Rectangular body with a matte black finish, minimalist style.
Tactile surface: Soft covering on the top for pleasant sensations when touched.
Body dynamics: The front and back parts of the body are movable, allowing the robot to change its tilt angle.
Orientation: Noticeable indentations on the front and side parts of the body to indicate the front.
3. Movement mechanism
Hidden wheels or tracks for smooth and silent movement.
4. Sound signaling
Soft clicking sounds to express states and responses to interactions.
5. Software behavior scripts
Built-in 1000-2000 scripts for reactions to noises, light, commands, and touches.
Random variations of scripts to create unique responses.
6. Full autonomy
No connection to Wi-Fi and external devices; only service maintenance.
7. Charge management
When the charge is low – sound notification and movement to the charging station. In the absence of a station — a signal to the user about the need for recharging.
8. Power supply
Main battery and backup battery for BIOS to save settings when the main power is disconnected.
