SEO - Audit and Technical Specification for Error Correction.
Recently, we redesigned some pages of the site https://npc.com.ua/
Now we need SEO. Work out and provide a technical task for correcting errors.
There are also questions regarding some pages.
For example, https://npc.com.ua/car-barrier/ is more promoted, has weight, and ranks in the top for the necessary queries. The new page https://npc.com.ua/parking/ somehow ended up being more focused on barriers. Hence the question, should we simply redo the new page for specific queries, slightly change the content of the old one and keep it, or just delete the old one and merge through a 301 redirect?
In short, we need to optimize the site.

Good day!
I have experience in SEO after redesigns - when it is important not to lose positions and to properly redistribute traffic.
Regarding your case (right now):
I do not recommend deleting / redirecting the page that is already in the TOP.
It is more correct to:
- keep /car-barrier/ under "barriers" (as the main one)
- clearly separate the new /parking/ for other queries
… - remove semantic overlap (to avoid cannibalization)
What I will do:
full SEO audit (technical + structure)
I will find mistakes after the redesign
I will write a technical specification for corrections
I will separate pages by semantics
I will provide a clear growth plan
Result:
preservation of positions + traffic growth without "decline"
Cost:
audit + technical specification: from $300

1281 9 0 Good day!
7+ years of experience in SEO.
We can help in the following format:
— conduct an SEO analysis of the updated pages after the redesign
— check for technical and structural errors that may hinder visibility
— prepare a clear technical specification for corrections for the developer
— analyze disputed pages and provide recommendations not "theoretically," but from the perspective of maintaining positions, page weight, and SEO structure logic.
…
Regarding your example with car-barrier / parking: first, we need to look at:
— what specific queries the old page attracts
— whether there is intent overlap between the pages
— whether they can be clearly separated into different clusters
— whether you will lose traffic and weight when merging
In practice, it is often more correct not to delete a strong page, but to separate the pages by roles: keep one under the already strong cluster, and clearly refine the other for a different search demand. If the pages truly duplicate each other in intent, then we can consider a 301 redirect and consolidation. That is, the decision here should be made only after an SEO analysis, not "blindly."
We have experience in technical SEO, working with page structures, redesigns, maintaining positions after changes, and preparing specifications for implementation. Therefore, we can not only find errors but also suggest how to properly handle the pages to avoid losing what is already working.
If needed, we can first conduct an audit and provide recommendations on such disputed pages, and then a complete technical specification for corrections on the site.

4905 16 0 Hello!
Right now, you have a classic situation after the redesign: pages with different user intents have started to "mix," and Google is pulling a stronger URL not for those queries. If this is not separated, there will be cannibalization and unstable positions.
Audit case studies (we are showing these specifically because they have tasks in the format of problem -> impact -> what to do -> priority and acceptance criteria for developers):
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1SXdWlbbgnlodA4BaRcV7cX9qEYscY6o6QBQ6li-kVdM/edit?usp=sharing
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1GbxNxjDgWbFn5sMy_2S9ynkZTO5CT0DbVdj5m7hjmQg/edit?usp=sharing
Regarding the issue of car-barrier vs parking:
… • We only do a 301 redirect if the car-barrier page completely duplicates the intent of parking or if its meaning is no longer needed. If it is really "about barriers" and has links, history, rankings, deleting it is often more expensive than properly separating them.
• Most often, the correct option is to keep both but clearly separate the intents:
1. car-barrier = barriers (commercial queries, specifications, installation, prices, FAQ about barriers)
2. parking = parking/parking systems (complex, scenarios, solutions, cases, FAQ about parking)
3. interlinking between them and correct anchors
4. canonical only if there are duplicate sections or template pages, but not as a workaround instead of a strategy
5. checking in GSC: which queries lead to each page, where the overlap is, and what needs to be "redirected" with content and internal links
What we will do for npc.com.ua:
1. Technical audit after the redesign: indexing, robots/sitemap, status codes, redirects, canonical, duplicates, pagination, CWV, mobile, internal links.
2. Cannibalization audit: GSC (Queries for each URL, Pages, URL Inspection), map "query -> target page."
3. On-page for key pages: Title/H1/H2, block structure, FAQ, schema, CTR factors.
4. Technical specifications for developers: list of tasks Must/Should/Later with acceptance criteria.
Real rates:
• Audit + Technical specifications (task table) + 60–90 min call for discussion: 12,000 UAH.
• Implementation support with developers for 2 weeks: 8,000 UAH.
• If needed "turnkey" with content edits for 5–7 pages: 20,000 UAH.
Please provide access to GSC (read) and a list of pages that were redesigned. We will give a preliminary conclusion on car-barrier vs parking within 48 hours and propose a specific solution: whether to keep 2 URLs or merge them, with justification based on data.

1075 6 0 Hello! I can prepare a technical specification for fixing errors after the redesign and solve the problem of request cannibalization between /car-barrier/ and /parking/. I have experience promoting complex equipment, where we brought priority keywords to the TOP through a clear category structure.
My solutions for your situation:
- Problem with pages: I am categorically against deleting the old page if it already has weight and is in the TOP.
- We will separate the intent. We will strictly optimize the old /car-barrier/ for narrow queries "barriers," and the new /parking/ for broad "parking systems/equipment for parking lots." This will allow you to occupy two positions in the search results instead of one.
- Technical audit after redesign: I will check 404 errors, changes in the structure of H1-H3 headers, and the loading speed of new elements. I will provide a specification for developers to fix critical bugs.
- Content and meta tags: I will update the Title/Description for both pages so that Google clearly sees the difference in their purpose and stops "merging" them.
Result: A work plan for 1-3 months, maintaining the positions of the old page and bringing the new one to the TOP.
…
Full audit + specification for fixes $150.
Further support and promotion by agreement.
Do you currently have access to Google Search Console so that I can see which queries these two pages are currently overlapping on?

400 1 1 Good day! 👋
I reviewed the website and understand the situation with the two pages — this is a classic task of distributing semantics without losing accumulated SEO weight.
Regarding /car-barrier/ and /parking/:
I wouldn't rush with a 301 — the old page has weight and positions.
It would be more correct to clearly separate them into different clusters of queries, eliminate cannibalization, and strengthen each one separately. But this will be resolved after analyzing the semantics and current positions.
What is included in the work:
• Technical SEO audit + Terms of Reference for fixing errors
• Semantic analysis and strategy for competing pages
• Optimization of meta tags, structure, internal linking
… • Content recommendations after redesign
Rates — after I look at the volume of errors and the number of pages.
Usually, the audit + Terms of Reference are separate, implementation is separate.
Write to me — we will discuss the details and I will provide a specific figure. 🚀

1240 14 0 Good day.
I can take this on. I will look at the current structure, problematic pages, prepare a specific technical task for corrections, and provide solutions for the pages that overlap in queries.
Regarding your example, I would not immediately implement a 301 redirect. If the old page already has weight and maintains its positions, it is initially more logical to separate the semantics and roles of the pages, and only after analysis decide what to keep, what to redo, and what to merge.
Cost:
8,000–12,000 UAH — analysis + technical task
12,000–16,000 UAH — if with a deeper analysis of key pages and recommendations on structure
…
Deadline:
4–7 working days

7111 57 0 Good day, Sergey.
I am a practicing marketing specialist, engaged in SEO and contextual advertising for 5 years.
As part of the project, I propose to conduct an SEO audit of your website, with a description of the correction of each point of existing SEO errors. I will also detail the importance of each of them (some are recommended to be fixed immediately, while others can be deprioritized).
Based on the results, I will create a technical specification for the developer.
After that, we will focus on internal and external optimization and support for the SEO project. We will acquire a quality backlink profile for your key queries, outline a plan, and act on it until we achieve high positions in search results.

556 1 0 Good day!
I looked at the description and examples of the pages — you have a classic situation after a redesign: there is a page with history and weight, and there is a new one that is currently “not understood” by Google.
It is important not to harm — especially with 301, as you can simply lose traffic.
I do not perform a “general audit for the sake of formality,” but I analyze such moments specifically: why one page ranks, for which queries, and what is currently happening with the new one.
In your example (barrier vs parking), the issue is most likely in:
…
— semantic overlap (cannibalization)
— different history of the pages
— structure and internal linking
And the solution is not always to “delete or merge” — often it is more correct to differentiate the pages by roles and for different groups of queries.
What I will do:
— technical SEO audit (indexing, meta, structure, duplicates)
— analysis of key pages (including your example)
— identify where there is cannibalization and how to resolve it
— prepare a clear technical task: what exactly to change and how
At the output:
— a list of specific edits without “fluff”
— recommendations for the pages (keep / redo / merge)
— logic for working with semantics
— a plan for further actions
Timeline and cost:
Timeline: 2–3 days
Cost: 150 USD

1023 13 0 Good day!
Regarding the pages /car-barrier/ and /parking/
Here I would recommend the following approach:
— Keep the old page /car-barrier/, but clearly "tailor" it exclusively for barriers (specify meta tags, H1, content for queries like "buy barrier", "automatic barrier", etc.).
— Develop the new page /parking/ for a broader theme of parking — parking systems, parking equipment, comprehensive solutions.
— It is not advisable to do a 301 redirect from the old to the new — you will simply "consume" the accumulated authority of the page that is already in the top. It is better to keep both with different semantic clusters.
… Regarding SEO work in general
• Technical audit of the site + specifications for fixing errors — from 50–100 USD (one-time)
• On-page optimization (meta tags, titles, structure) — 10–20 USD/page
• Development of the semantic core — from 50–150 USD
• Writing SEO texts — from 5–10 USD/1000 characters
• Monthly SEO promotion (links, content, monitoring) — from 250–800 USD/month
