    My client wanted to create a logo. He wanted to have a logo with a pirate necklace and the name of his anime-podcast “UMI” (Japanese – the ocean). Initially, our concept consisted in creating a font logo with an illustrative part. The text is written in the pirate's neck. However, the final work didn’t fit my client. He indicated her too angry. After that I proposed to completely change the concept: a round logo, the style of the old pirate map, written by UMI: “with the flow” of water. We discussed a dozen sketches and received the final sketch. You can see my work. This design I developed in April 2022. I used the Illustrator for technical creativity.

    I remember the first time I came to the Carpathians to enter the Academy of Arts. This is a wonderful place, the locals are very respecting their traditions. Among the amazing things is national clothes. In the city where I live, it’s just like that. Like a parade dress. And among the memorable things are the main clothes. As if you’re in a changing epoch of musketeers. In the new generation of youth, a mixture of traditions and new style flows is observed. I painted a carpatty in a traditional hat, sharp black glasses and with rocker chains on the neck. I think it’s all different, but for me, who came here for the first time, it looked exactly like that! I developed this design in June 2015 and tried it in April 2022. I used Illustrator to create work.

    My client wanted to create a logo. His idea was literally the following: “A drunk Viking, the top name and somewhere below the name of alcohol.” If with the last demands everything is clear, then how to paint a drunk person? Only with his face. I decided that the general feature of all the drunk is the red nose. And let him be so drunk that somebody made him hold a table in his teeth called the drink that made him like that. The design of the teeth I took from the classical exhibition "Lusconch". In general, the drunk and the hunted soldier are creatures very similar to their movements. This is how the idea of design was born. This design I developed in April 2022. I used the Illustrator for technical creativity. Now such a design is not seen anywhere, as my customer has decided not to make a licor. And that is probably better.
