Hello! I have an online store on Shopify (English, USA), with very strange conversion statistics over the last 30 days: 2k users, 275 add to cart, 154 checkouts, 27 payment details filled, and only 1 sale (which was through Apple Pay - the user did not go to checkout), all metrics/analytics/clarity/advertising - everything is great and for some reason there are no sales.
According to clarity flow, it looks almost like a successful payment - the person goes to checkout (this session period is not recorded), and then they are redirected to the homepage, there is no redirect to the Thank You page (which they are taken to after a successful payment). I also saw a few recordings where after clicking the checkout button, the person is redirected back to the product/category, although there are only 2 such recordings and it could not be reproduced.
In my opinion, it is necessary to analyze the payment processing code for errors and conduct test payments. If there are better ideas and possibly experience with similar cases - I would gladly consider your proposal.
Test payments from different devices and under VPN did not yield results, everything is fine - everything works. The test mode of payment systems is turned off. Everything that can affect conversion is implemented. Currently, the site is not much different from top competitors. I do not see any triggers, maybe it's just a tired eye, or maybe the problem is indeed technical.
