Texts about children are a case where an editor can easily spoil the material: if everything is "groomed" to adult language, the lively intonation for which the book is made disappears. I edit in a way that keeps the child's voice while only removing disruptions: bureaucratic language, repetitions, scattered paragraph structure.

What is included (35 pages):
1. Literary editing — rhythm, logic of paragraphs, removal of repetitions and bureaucratic language, without aligning all stories to one "adult" voice.
2. Proofreading — spelling, punctuation, current orthography.
3. Unification throughout the book — names, ages, titles, abbreviations, dashes/hyphens, quotation marks, numbers, and dates according to a single standard. For a catalog book, this is critical: discrepancies in captions are immediately noticeable when pages are placed side by side.
4. A file with edits in review mode + a short list of disputed places where I leave the decision to you.
5. Separately, if needed — proofreading of the already typeset layout before printing: hanging lines, breaks, "lost" characters.
