Creation of maps in the style of Warcraft III / Dota (Low Poly) for a mobile Tower Defence game in Unity
We are looking for a Level Designer / Environment Artist who can create atmospheric maps in the style of Warcraft III / Dota 2, but optimized for a mobile Tower Defence game (Unity, Low Poly).
Experience in building readable, lively scenes is necessary — so that each map looks like a small world, but does not turn into a lagging bag of assets.
Tasks:
Create a “turnkey” map based on provided blueprints (will be attached).
The map must be a single object, not assembled from separate tiles/blocks.Texture roads and surfaces (earth, stone, grass, water, etc.) in the style of Warcraft III / Dota.
Fill the environment: trees, bushes, stones, decorative items, ruins, bonfires, bridges, magical elements, and more — to create atmosphere.
Ensure optimization for mobile devices: LOD, light baking, texture atlases, minimizing draw calls.
Support the Low Poly style, but with rich detail and a recognizable “warcraft-fantasy” vibe.
If necessary, we can purchase asset packs from the Unity Store (by agreement).
Total: 10 maps
Themes: summer / winter / forest / rocks / swamps / magical zones
For testing — one starting map (upon successful completion — the remaining nine).
Requirements for the specialist:
Experience in Unity and creating game levels for mobile.
Understanding of optimization (polycount, LOD, lightmap, occlusion).
Artistic taste and sense of composition.
Experience with genres RTS / MOBA / Tower Defence — will be a big plus.
Understanding of the style of Warcraft III / Dota — a must-have.

не маловато ли? я про сумму, в ТЗ требуеться опітній чел со знаниями геймдева!, но он еще и должен шарить в RTS, это напоминает человека которые и моделер , и кодер, и художник, да еще и певец, Вот я могу создавать карты но чет сумма маловата

добавлю, если вынадеетесь тут найти такого опытного человека за такой бюджет, то это ошибочное мнение! с такими скилами чекловек получает 5000 баксов в месяц и работает на условный тенсент. И он явно тут не сидит. А месные хоть и умеют но еще ссума не сошли за такие суммы такую довольно сложную задачу делать, а поверте Лоу поли локации это посложнее чем хай поли с нанитами, в лоу поли очень много возни с текстурами, смузами, развертками, нормалями и только на один качественный пропс может уйти неделя.

І рівень - прийнятний) але дотягнути можна і потрібно. Смішно читати деякі коменти про 500-1000 за карту, за 20к і за ЗП у 5000$ ...

я от сам свою гру роблю, часу потратив багато , два роки. Моделювання пропсів займае час , лорна составна, механіки. Готові ассети не киваю бо то зашквар. Шо не гра інді всюди одні ассеті шо зразу мінус для гравців то відторгае гратися. І до демки мені ще рік! і от вам приклад альтруізма за 0 гривень,одне діло коли собі робишь, інше на когось, там вигораніе через місяці 2. В свій час ми зробили успішну гру на базі Портал 2, в стімі е PORTAL 2 Thinking with Time Machine, починало багато закінчував один. Двігло сурс специфічне і важке. У гри максимальні відгуки в стімі.
Вигорання на альтруізмі це все ..люди або ніколи більше , а бо починають працювати паралельно над іншим по ітогу змінювати виконавця на пів дороги це проблема, бо уодного один стиль у іншого інший, потям буде бардак в дизайні локацій. Приклад варкрафт рефордж, де малазийці на старе накинули безвкусні текстури кислотні, та лоу полі юнітів замінили на хай польних шо навіть не видно, бо роликів вони не перезаписали, але тормоза прибавили.
