Create animations for a mini-game
🎬 Task: Fight Animations for Slaps (top-down)
Objective:
Create animations for a mini-game in the style of slap fighting (players slap each other on the cheek).
📌 Important:
This is not a fist fight, but rather open palm to cheek.
Movements should look funny/playful, not brutal.
You can use arcade style / cartoon style.
🎥 Overall Scene
View from directly above (top-down, 90°).
Two characters stand opposite each other:
Lower player (at the bottom of the screen).
Upper player (at the top of the screen).
Strikes are made with palms (left or right hand).
1️⃣ Animation "Strike → Block"
(example: lower strikes with right hand, upper blocks with right)
Attacker's Movement (lower):
Wind-up:
The hand is slightly pulled to the side (to the right) and slightly back.
The shoulder and torso slightly rotate towards the wind-up (by 10–15°).
The head remains in place.
Strike:
👉 The hand moves in a arc from the shoulder to the opponent's cheek (with a noticeable wind-up and slight torso rotation).
The torso rotates after the wind-up.
The palm is open, fingers together.
Contact with the block:
At the moment of contact, the hand's movement slightly slows down.
The palm makes a short bounce back (sharp, springy).
The torso jerks back slightly, showing a springy contact.
Defender's Movement (upper):
Block with hand:
The hand is extended towards the cheek.
The palm is open, fingers together.
The elbow is slightly bent.
Contact:
The hand is firmly fixed (like a "wall").
The head and torso do not move (the strike did not pass).
2️⃣ Animation "Strike → Hit"
(example: lower strikes with right hand, upper blocks with left — miss)
Attacker's Movement (lower):
Wind-up: similar to the previous scene.
Strike:
The hand moves in an arc towards the opponent's face.
Contact:
The palm reaches the target without slowing down.
The palm lingers on the cheek for 1–2 frames (impact effect).
Then the hand moves slightly further (sliding motion).
Defender's Movement (upper):
Attempt to block:
The opposite hand is raised (for example, left), but it is not in the line of the strike.
It is visually clear that the defense "misses".
Head reaction:
The head sharply tilts towards the strike (by 10–15°).
The torso slightly follows.
After a moment, the head returns closer to the starting position.
💡 Additional Details for Realism
During the wind-up, the shoulder of the attacking hand slightly moves back.
During the strike, the torso naturally "catches up" with the hand.
Bounce during block — quick and sharp.
Hit to the head — smooth, with emphasis on head movement.
Duration: 0.8–1 sec.
⚙️ Technical Requirements
Format: GIF + PNG sequence (sprites).
Character field size: ~300×600 px (top view).
Transparent background.
8–12 frames per animation.
Character style: maintain current style (one bald, the other with hair).
🎯 Final Task
👉 Create 2 animations:
Strike with block (hand bounces back).
Strike with hit (head jerks).
📌 Animation requirement:
Animations should be done in such a way that they can be used in a mirrored form (flip horizontal).
This will allow the same GIF to be used for both the lower player and the upper one.
When mirrored, the movements should look natural, maintaining the correct trajectory of the strike and block.

3441 67 0 Good day, Petro, I have extensive experience in animation, my portfolio is here and on YouTube, I am adding a couple of examples here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T_Zj_MaelHg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GWjWqnQxmFY Overall, the task is clear, but the price.. I assume you set it for formality, so I am writing my estimated price and time.
