I recently built a company selling physical therapy and recovery devices, and we are looking for an experienced UX/UI designer + Shopify 2.0 developer to design and build a high-converting eCommerce website.
The goal is not just to make the site look clean. We need someone who understands conversion rate optimization, product education, trust-building, mobile-first shopping flows, and how to turn visitors into buyers.
We would like to use mitoredlight.com as a reference for the level of design quality, trust signals, product presentation, and premium wellness/eCommerce feel we are aiming for. However, we do not want a copy. We want a custom site built around our own products, customers, and brand.
Scope of work:
Create high-quality UX/UI designs in Figma
Design a modern, premium, mobile-first homepage
Design product detail pages focused on conversion
Build the approved design in Shopify 2.0
Create reusable Shopify sections for future landing pages
Improve product education so customers quickly understand which device is right for them
Add strong CRO elements such as benefit sections, comparison tables, reviews, FAQs, guarantees, badges, bundles, and clear CTAs
Optimize the site for speed, mobile usability, and clean Shopify structure
Make sure the design supports paid traffic, organic visitors, and returning customers
Required experience:
Strong Figma design skills
Shopify 2.0 theme development experience
Experience with eCommerce CRO
Ability to design premium wellness, medical, fitness, recovery, or health-related product websites
Good understanding of mobile-first UX
Ability to communicate clearly and explain design decisions
Experience with landing pages, product pages, and checkout-focused UX is a plus
Reference site review requirement:
When applying, please review mitoredlight.com and include at least one specific area where you think the site could improve from a CRO or UX/UI perspective, plus your proposed solution.
For example, one possible issue is that although the site has strong branding, trust badges, reviews, and product presentation, the buyer journey could be more guided for people shopping by specific recovery needs. A visitor with back pain, knee rehab, shoulder recovery, sports recovery, or post-therapy use may need a clearer “choose the right device for your condition/use case” path before reaching product pages. A strong solution would be to create guided use-case landing pages, a product recommendation quiz, comparison cards, and clearer CTAs that connect each customer problem to the best-fit device.
Applications that do not include a thoughtful CRO/UX observation about the reference site will not be considered.
Ideal candidate:
We are looking for someone who can think like both a designer and a conversion strategist. You should be able to explain why a section exists, how it helps the customer make a decision, and how the Shopify build can support future testing and growth.
Please include:
Examples of Shopify 2.0 websites you have designed or developed
Examples of Figma work
Your CRO/UX observation about mitoredlight.com
Your estimated timeline
Your hourly rate or fixed-price estimate
Whether you can handle both design and development, or only one part
We are looking for a reliable expert who can help us build a polished, trustworthy, and conversion-focused website for physical therapy and recovery devices.
